Relational healing to get you to your happy(er) place.

Why porch culture?

There’s something that happens on a porch that rarely happens anywhere else anymore.

People slow down.
They stay awhile.
They talk honestly.
They laugh harder.
They say the things they’ve been carrying.

Porches have always felt like a threshold to me — a space between the outside world and whatever is happening internally.

That’s what I wanted therapy to feel like.

Not cold.
Not performative.
Not like you need to have the “right” words before you walk in.

Just a space where you can show up honestly and begin untangling what’s keeping you stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or exhausted.

That idea became Porch Culture.

MY WORK

I tend to work well with people who are thoughtful, emotionally aware, deeply feeling, overwhelmed, burned out, highly responsible for others, or struggling to fully connect with themselves beneath the noise of everyday life.

Many of my clients are used to functioning at a high level externally while privately feeling anxious, disconnected, emotionally reactive, exhausted, or stuck in patterns they can’t seem to shift alone.

My approach is relational, collaborative, insight-oriented, and grounded in nervous system awareness.

I believe therapy should feel like a real conversation — one rooted in curiosity, honesty, emotional safety, and meaningful connection rather than shame or perfectionism.

Sessions may involve:

  • understanding emotional patterns

  • attachment dynamics

  • nervous system regulation

  • mindfulness-based approaches

  • trauma-informed work

  • relational insight

  • practical coping strategies

  • deeper identity exploration

I don’t believe healing happens through pretending to have everything figured out.

I believe it happens through learning how to relate to yourself differently.

Outside the Therapy RooM

Outside of my work as a therapist, I’m deeply drawn to spaces, stories, creativity, restoration, music, meaningful conversation, and the small moments that make people feel more connected to themselves and each other.

I believe we are living in a time when people are more digitally connected than ever, yet feel profoundly alone.

Porch Culture was built in response to that.

Not just as a therapy practice — but as a reminder that healing often begins when we feel safe enough to slow down, be witnessed honestly, and reconnect with our humanity.
